If there were no boys, who would rescue us from evil villains that invade our homes?
Who would teach us to sing in the rain?
Who would limit our dirty dishes by drinking straight from the carton?
Who would remind us to watch where we step?
Who would keep the ladies entertained?
Who would turn a reenactment of Mary and Joseph riding to Bethlehem into a bull-ride?
Who would keep us up late at night surfing the internet on how to best apply super glue to wrestling wound?
Who would eat the cream out of all the cookies?
Who would remind us that life is more fun in your underwear?
But most importantly... who would teach our little boys how to become big boys? Who would teach them how to become husbands and daddies and men of God?
There's no denying it. Boys are a necessity in life that we just can't afford to do without!
I love this and I love having all boys!! You said it so perfectly. Can't imagine life without my boys. Have you read Raising Real Men? Can't think of the author off the top of my head, but it's a great read. Love keeping up with your blog and your family journeys. God Bless!
ReplyDeleteGirls! I totally agree! Who would have thought that we would all have all these boys! Love them!!! Very well put...can't wait to get them all together!
